At the End of the Day

It’s the end of the day. Time to pack it in. I didn’t get around to posting abou… (Interruption) …This is what happens when you forget to replace the batteries in your wireless keyboard and then find you have none in the house. Keyboard fail.

It’s the next day, and I am now at a computer with a wired keyboard so I can finish.

It’s the end of the day (it was last night when I started this). Time to pack it in (it was…). I wanted to get a new post up, and didn’t get around to writing anything about His Little Feet visiting our church yesterday morning. That will come later after I get a pack (big pack) of AAA batteries and do a little work on the iPhone picture I took. That’s right, I didn’t take my DSLR to church. In the meantime enjoy this image made at Del Mar, California last month.

The Image

While waiting to grab some shots of an amazing sunset I caught this one of a surfer carrying his board up the beach. Obviously, it was well before the sunset. This was an opportunity shot, as many of mine are. I was testing exposures and adjusting settings as he walked by so I snapped it. Since he was walking away I really didn’t have time to adjust the settings from where they were, but they seem to have worked.

I used a Canon 60D with a 18-135mm lens set at 135mm; f/5.6 at 1/160 sec. ISO 100.
