He Lives

He lives! That is enough for me.

He lives! It is a simple message, and I can add nothing to it. It is a message that resonates through the ages and gives me assurance of a future beyond the bonds of this present life, beyond the chains of mortal limitations. Because of the resurrection, because of Jesus’ victory over sin and death and the grave, because I serve a risen savior, I can live this present life with the peace of knowing that I travel eternity’s highway to my forever home where there will be no more sorrow, no more tears. All because he lives.

Happy Easter! Glorious Resurrection Day!
