Louise B. Haverfield -MACON - Louise B. Haverfield, 92, of The Villas at College Hill, died Thursday in a local hospital. Memorial services will be held at graveside in Rose Hill Cemetery at 3P.M., Sunday with the Rev. T. J. Lewis officiating. The family will meet friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the League of the Good Shepherd, Magnolia Manor, 200 Pierce Avenue, Macon, GA 31204.
Mrs. Haverfield, wife of the late Paul Harold Haveverfield, was a lifelong resident of Macon and daughter of the late Samuel Ernest and Eva Sydney Randle Bayne. She received a BA Degree from Wesleyan College, a Master's Degree in Education from Mercer University, and also attended the University of Mexico. Mrs. Haverfield was a teacher at Whittle Elementary School for many years and was a lifelong member of Vineville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip Bayne and Suzette J. Haverfield of Doraville and Cole and Mary Smith Haverfield of Knoxville, TN; five grandchildren, Pierce A. Haverfield, Elizabeth Haverfield, Marcus Lee Haverfield, Stephen Paul Haverfield and Kathryn Bayne Haverfield. -Visit www.mem.com to express tributes.
